Pedro Krainovic

Pedro Krainovic is a forestry engineer (UFRRJ) and a Ph.D. in Tropical Forest Sciences (INPA), with a focus on the silviculture of native species. Pedro has been involved in research development and innovation in natural product supply chains in the Amazon and Atlantic Forest for over 12 years. Among the topics covered are relationship policies with rural communities, soil science, forest management, silvicultural practices, modeling biomass, carbon, and tree growth, as well as native tree biotechnological potentials. As part of the Biota Synthesis, he combines his experience with forest restoration and bioeconomy.
