Luara Tourinho

Postdoctoral Team

Luara Tourinho is biologist (UFBA) and Ph.D. in Ecology (UFRJ, UCSC-USA). She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at USP and a member of the Biota Síntese Project. In this project, she develops activities related to vulnerability and valuation of ecosystem services in the face of global changes, based on demands from the state government of SP. Her main activities and collaborations are in the areas of conservation biology, spatial analysis, climate and land use change, habitat loss and fragmentation, ecological niche modeling and ecosystem services.
