Adelaide Cassia Nardocci

Adelaide Cassia Nardocci is Associate Professor of the Environmental Health at the School of Public Health, University of São Paulo. Since 2001, she has been working with human risk assessment from several environmental factors as natural disasters, traffic related air pollution; urban noise, green areas, chemicals and microbiological agentes int the environment. The studies focus on the quantitative risk assessment methods and ecological studies. The studies focus on the use of quantitative risk assessment methods and ecological studies. In recent years, her studies have also focused on the impact of climate change, especially those reflected in the variation of ambient temperature and its effects on the health of the population. She is the leader of the Center for Research on Risk Assessment;  member of the Center for Research on Disasters (CEPED) of the University of São Paulo and also a member of the Society for Risk Analysis and Latin America Society for Risk Analysis.
