Ana Carolina Carvalho Figueiredo

Ana Carolina Carvalho Figueiredo is a PhD student in Global Health and Sustainability at the Faculty of Public Health of the University of São Paulo (USP) since 2021 and is a professor of the undergraduate course in Architecture and Urbanism at the Anhanguera University of Santo André, where she coordinates scientific initiation research on the implementation of green and blue infrastructure in areas of urban vulnerability. She holds a master’s degree in Architecture, Urbanism and Technology from the University of São Paulo (IAU / USP-2018), researching the application of sustainability principles in social housing projects. She holds a degree in Architecture from the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo (IAU / USP-2015). Her recent research is in the areas of urban sustainability, green and blue infrastructure, Nature-Based Solutions (SBN), adaptation to climate change and the relationship between these themes and global health.
